안녕하세요. 저는 달라스 텍사스에서 RN 으로 일하는 남자 간호사 입니다. 2년전 강동에서 수업을 들었었답니다. 오랜만에 들려보며 혹시 요즘은 어떤 이야기들이 있나 확인해보았답니다.
저도 군 간호사를 생각해서 1년 6개월전쯤 알아봤었기에 답글을 답니다.
다름이 아니라 현재 군 간호사는 닫혀있는 상태입니다. 제가 연락하는 Captain Taylor 라는 분의 답 메일 입니다.

The MAVNI program is not currently open and once it opens back up there will not be any accessions for nurses.  I'm not sure about the Navy or Marines.

The MAVNI program is temporarily on hold. Please continue to complete the business reply card and submit your information. The information you provide will be screened and your eligibility for the program will be tentatively determined and sent to a Recruiter. It is anticipated that MAVNI recruiting will resume again in the near future; however, there is currently no defined re-start date.

저는 한국에서 간호에 대해 생각도 안하던 그냥 평범한 남학생이였답니다. 미국에서 간호공부를 시작해서 지금 일을 하고 있구여. 한국보다 더 나은 조건과 대우가 확실한것 같으니 포기 하시지 마시고 열심히하세요. 여기는 성별, 나이, 피부 색에 관련없이 동등하거든요.. 대신 영어 못하면 무시당하니 열심히 하시구요.
