About one month ago the National Council of State Boards of Nursing(NCSBN) emailed a questionnaire to you as part of a national study on newly licensed registered nurse(RN) practice. The results of this study will be used to describe the work of new RNs and to compare the content of the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses(NCLEX-RN) to the actual practice of new RNs.

Your name was selected by a process designed to obtain a representative sample of newly licensed RNs from all parts of the country. In order for the results of this study to be representative of the practice patterns of new RNs, it is important that each person in the sample complete the questionnaire. Therefore, your participation is critical to the outcome of the study.
